RINA-JET Turbo-Micronisers |
|
|
|
 |
Our Turbo-Micronisers function by breaking down particles using high-velocity collision in a pressurised fluid environment. A fluid at high pressure is introduced into a system of nozzles where is expands, converting the energy of the pressure into cinetic energy, fomenting the collision between the product particles and causing their breakdown.
|
| RINA-JET Turbo-Micronisers allow the obtention of micronised products with particle sizes of less than 10 microns with a narrow granulometric curve of approximately medium size, with advantages over mechanical grinders. |
| |
| APPLICATIONS |
| |
|
Micronisation of: chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, natural (botanical) products; synthetic pigments; as well as in combined operations of micronisation and intimate mixing, particle coating, etc.
|
| |
| CHARACTERISTICS |
| |
- Fluid used: air or vapor. In special cases compressible inert gases, reactive gases, particle coating vapors, etc.
- Pressures between 7 and 10 kg/cm2 with compressed air and from 10 to 15 kg/cm2 using reheated vapor.
- Higher working temperatures for finer particles.
- Lower temperatures (even cryogenic) for thermosensitive or sticky particles.
- Optional powder classifier. Allows correction of the granulometric curve in products with an overly wide curve, reducing micronisation costs.
- Special equipment for small samples and valuable products.
- Compliance with CE and ATEX regulations.

| CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS |
| |
| The structural parts of the installation, as well as those that are in contact with the product to be treated, are made of materials such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Hastelloy, Incoloy, Monel, Titanium, etc. For abrasive products, special linings are used such as High Alumina, Silica Carbonate, Silica Nitronate, Tungsten Carbonate, etc. |
